Russia prepares legal action for protection of assets

MOSCOW, Apr 18 (PRIME) -- The Russian government is preparing legal action against several jurisdictions and foreign companies to protect national assets, Central Bank Chairwoman Elvira Nabiullina told the State Duma, the Russian parliament’s lower chamber, on Monday.

When asked by members of parliament whether the country was working on protection of its assets and residents, she said, “We are obviously working on the legal actions, there can be no other way, but the actions should be grounded and well thought-out if we want to get the necessary result. We are preparing for that.”
